DOCMONTEVIDEO Latino broadcasters meeting from the 26th June in Uruguay

Uruguay will organize the II DOCMONTEVIDEO of television from the 26th to the 30th of June with participation of delegates from dozens of countries, announced Luis Gonzalez Zaffaroni, director of the organizing comate.

Gonzalez Zaffaroni said that confirmation has been received from representatives of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Spain and the headquarters as well as presence of 30 television stations in the region.

The director explained that the international meeting aims to build bridges between independent entities and producers of documentaries to promote construction of work networks, cooperation and businesses in Latin America.

“We hope that these objectives propose a series of activities and equalize training, debate of ideas, relations between participants and sale of contents,” he explained.

During the presentation of DOCMONTEVIDEO to be held in the Solis Theater in the capital the vice minister of Education and Culture, Maria Simon noted pointed out that the event is a proposal that promotes creation, production, broadcasting and access of the population.

“Diversity with quality is what is promoted in this new cultural industry of Uruguay,” the official noted.
