Taipei International Film Festival 2010 focus on Brazilian Film

Taipei – The 2010 Taipei International Film Festival opened Friday with its focus on Brazil.

A total of 152 films from about 30 countries will be shown during the festival, and 12 films have been nominated for the International Young Director Award.

The award, which carries the top prize of 600,000 Taiwan dollars (19,000 US dollars), will be announced on July 2.
