No Return/ Sin Retorno
On a hot summer night in Buenos Aires, a hit-and-run accident will link the lives of three men, one of them played by Leonardo Sparaglia. After running over a young man, the guilty driver leaves the scene of the crime without leaving a trace. The deceased young man’s father, with the support of the media, demands that the person responsible for his son’s death be hunted down and sent to jail. Entangled in a mesh of chance and despair, the characters in the story must face guilt, responsibility and the intimate need for redemption in an escalation that eventually reaches a point of no return.Screening: 6:00 p.m. AMC River East 21, 322 E.
