The Sydney Latin American Film Festival will be bringing its exciting program of award-winning films to the Casula Powerhouse this week.
From tomorrow through to Sunday, audiences can catch some of the best movies Latin America and the Caribbean have to offer.
Kicking off proceedings will be the Havana Club opening night fiesta, where special guest, Chilean producer Andres Waissbluth, will present his comedy Optical Illusions (ilusiones opticas), and be on hand to take questions afterwards.
Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said audiences can expect four nights of entertaining and thought-provoking cinema.
The 5th Sydney Latin American Film Festival continues to be a not-for profit, volunteer-run festival.
All proceeds go towards grassroots community development projects in Latin America.
There will be also be a special screening of the heart-warming Argentinean film Anita to raise money for the Down Syndrome Association of Argentina.
Casula Powerhouse is offering a three session pass (excluding opening night) for $36 for adults and $24 concession.
