Venue confirmed for Paraguay’s Third Latin American Film Festival

Asuncion will be the venue from August 13 of the Third Latin American Film Exhibition organized by the Entertainment Journalists Association of Paraguay.
Important personalities will attend the event, in which about 20 Latin American films will be screened, according to the digital journal ABC Color.
“El artista y Francia” (The artist and France) from Argentina, “Yuma” form Nicaragua, “Espiral” (Spiral) from Mexico, “Los viajes del viento” (Wind’s journeys) from Colombia, “Cementerio de elefantes” (Elephants’ Cemetery) from Bolivia and “Postales de Leningrado” (Leningrad Postcards) from Venezuela are among the films to be screened.
In the central “Plaza de la Democracia” (Democracy Square) people will be able to watch the films in a big screen for free.
Paraguayan actor Arnaldo André, awarded this year the Martín Fierro prize in Argentina; Colombian filmmaker Ciro Guerra and Brazilian producer Lucy Barreto (Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands) will be among the guests at the festival.
