Cannes with a film from Cuban Film School

The international Film School of San Antonio de los Baños will reaffirm in the upcoming Cannes Film Festival its status as a generator of great importance documentary with a film in competition by Brazilian Janiana Marques.

Her film “The minutes, the hours” was selected in the section Cinefondation, which filtered 1.600 films registered in the competition, but only 12 films of 11 countries won the test.

The novice filmmaker had a team of colleagues from the same school, which includes Dominican Joanne Gomez as producer, Spanish Pablo Arellano, co-author of the screenplay with Marques and Brazilian Constatini July in the photography.
